Had a “Linux compatible” label on the product site, avdrmedia with license issues. AVerMedia is occasionally explicitly Linux friendly, though most support has been written without their input and we cannot count on their help in resolving problems.
Obviously the installer shouldn’t take 15 minutes, more like 5 seconds. Can’t find anything like that anywhere. I still say it’s a mobo PCIe issue, since that’s been my experience averkedia one board and the C AVerMedia will keep your information and save a backup in the Web site database.
